PROCEDURES FOR ADDRESSING THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
PERSONS NOT ON THE AGENDA BUT WISHING TO SPEAK
We welcome you to this meeting of your Board of Trustees. Any person wishing to address the Board during this period reserved for public comment at a Board meeting must sign up to be heard in accordance with District policy BED(LOCAL) and the procedures outlined below:
When called upon to address the Board, rise and state your name.
Address all comments to the Board President.
Each participant will be limited to five minutes to make comments to the Board.
Any group of five or more persons must appoint one person to present the group's views to the Board.
The Board is not permitted to discuss or act upon any issues that are not posted on the agenda for tonight's meeting. The Board has adopted complaint policies that are de-signed to secure, at the lowest possible administrative level, a prompt and equitable resolution of complaints and concerns. Each of these processes provides that, if a resolution cannot be achieved administratively, the person may appeal the administrative decision to the Board as a properly posted agenda item. For further information on those policies, contact the Superintendent.
Please fill in the information requested below if you wish to address the Board during the public comment period.
If you represent an organization, please indicate the organization's name.
